Housing minister inspects Lethem, Region 9 homes

Over the weekend, the Minister of Housing and Water, Hon. Collin Croal inspected the housing units being constructed through the Lethem Housing Support Programme in Region Nine.

During this phase of the programme, the first forty-eight (48) homes are being built at the New Culvert City Housing Scheme and Tabatinga Housing Scheme. Each clay brick low-income unit measures approximately 550 square feet and features two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and sanitary facility at a cost of $3 million.

Six hundred (600) Lethem residents are targeted to benefit from the initiative, which is in keeping with a commitment of His Excellency, President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali.
